Consequently Hindustan Academy of Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Lucknow was established in June 2002 which was a unique and only AME training academy of its own type Approved by DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation- Govt. of India in U.P.

There was a time in history of Hindustan Academy of AME; they were using the traditional register written methods of record management of Flying done by students and Instructors, Inventory system, Quality Control system, students fee, exams and results management system, with the DGCA reports. According to DGCA norms, each student should have done some minimum hrs of flying, for which flying institutes need to deposit reports to DGCA. It was disorganized work and took long time to prepare reports, each six months DGCA needs these reports from institute. Managing work like this took lots of time and man power and the institute was not able to give much time for the works in institute.
